Donkey Lane Cottage

The cottage offers a lounge with inglenook fire place, a gas wood burner, flat screen TV with freeview, cloakroom, fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and espresso coffee machine.

Upstairs, the accommodation offers a double master bedroom along with a second single bedroom. A large bathroom with shower is also located upstairs.
Outside you will find a beautiful garden and small patio perfect for those summer days and sultry nights.

Entertainment: both bedrooms offer flatscreen TV’s with Freeview connection. A dvd player is located in the lounge along with a selection of DVD’s and a portable radio is included too. A selection of games are also available in the lounge. Wi-fi available through BT Openzone.

A high chair and cot are included for younger children.

You will be required to make a payment of 10% of the total cost at the time of booking. (minimum of £66.50 for a full week).  You can make this payment online through PayPal.

What is the minimum stay?
A minimum stay of 2 nights is required, dependent on time of year. Please see the rates sheet for more details.

When can we check in?
Check in time is after 3pm please. If you’re arriving late, it is advisable to bring a torch.

When do we have to check out and leave?
Please check out any time before 11am

What’s included in the price?
Our pricing includes sheets, towels and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge to welcome you. A 10% discount is also offered for meals taken at the Hive Beach Café.

Can we book meals at the Hive?
The Hive Beach Café is a few minutes walk away and a 10% discount voucher is provided to be used against any meals taken at the Hive. Breakfasts can be booked between 10 – 10.30am, but we do not take bookings for lunch. When we are open in the evenings again we do not accept bookings.

What do you need to secure the booking?
The online booking will be secured with a 10% deposit paid through PayPal. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to your arrival.

Do you cater for young children?
The cottage is equipped with a high chair and a travel cot for young children, but please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.

Can we bring our dog?
Sorry, but we do not allow any pets in the properties.

Where can we park?
You can park your vehicle either in Donkey Lane or go to the top of the lane, turn right, and park by the Rectory wall.

How far are you from the beach?
It’s a short walk, 8-10 minutes to the café and the beach.

Do you have a TV, DVD or games machine in the cottage?
There are flat screen TV’s in the lounge and the bedrooms (all with Freeview) along with a DVD player in the lounge. There is also a portable radio/cd unit in the cottage along with a selection of board games.

Is there anything else we need to know?
Please advise us of any special requests and the property is strictly No Smoking.
